If women understood their bodies,
they would understand their power,
and the whole world would change.
Lena Morgan, RN + Dr. Liane Erickson
It started in a thermal pool in Alaska.
Not with a business plan or a perfectly mapped-out idea. Just a conversation about how often the women we'd worked with felt unsure of their own bodies. How easily symptoms could become confusing or dismissed. And how much we wanted to change that.
Between Liane's decades of clinical work in women's health and Lena's background in midwifery and communication, we'd seen the same problem from different angles.
That conversation eventually became HealHer.
Dr. Liane Erickson, ND, is HealHer’s co-founder, a naturopathic doctor, and hormone specialist.
For more than 25 years, she’s worked directly with women, helping them make sense of hormones, symptoms, labs, and the bigger picture of what may be happening in the body.
At HealHer, Liane brings the clinical experience behind the education and helps turn complex physiology into information women can actually use.
Work With Dr. Liane →Clinical Experience
25 years of working with women and recognizing the patterns that emerge when you look beyond a single symptom or lab value.
Connecting the Dots
Physiology, symptoms, hormones, history, and labs all belong in the same conversation.
Useful Science
Complex physiology translated into information women can understand and apply.
A little more about Liane.
Found out she passed 22 board exams the same day she became a first-time mom.
Practiced across Canada and Alaska, including remote communities, often with babies in tow.
Burned out after eight intense years of practice and moved to Mexico for two years to rest and reset.
Returned north to work with nonprofits and run a fertility clinic, while having her third and fourth babies in her 40s. Geriatric pregnancy, who?
Moved back to Alaska to raise four kids with her husband and build HealHer with her North Star and business partner, Lena.
Current chapter: enjoying her kids, building HealHer, and helping women find more energy, clarity, and confidence.
Still searching for balance, but is pretty sure it’ll show up any day now.
Lena Morgan is HealHer’s co-founder, a retired midwife, nurse, and communication specialist.
After more than a decade caring for women, Lena saw how often important symptoms and concerns got lost between what someone was experiencing and what they were able to communicate.
At HealHer, she helps women understand the information they’re given, put words to what they’re noticing, and ask better questions about their health.

A little more about Lena.

Pivoted into communication work to better understand how people feel heard, understood, and connected.
Created the Fight Languages framework, wrote a book about conflict, and recorded the audiobook in her bedroom closet. #DIY
Taught families, leaders, and organizations how to communicate and connect.
Started building HealHer with her kindred spirit, Liane, and learned quickly that passion projects come with very long to-do lists.
Current chapter: raising teens with her husband, trying out bedside nursing, and preparing quietly for global domination.
